FAQ

How do meals work?

We will take care of our own meals, prepared in the house-style kitchen (eg not a commercial kitchen), with a head chef plus many hands for each meal.
Please specify food restrictions at registration.

What do I need to bring?

Refer to the packing list below

How much does it cost?

We suggest a contribution of $100 per family.
(Much of the cost is subsidized.)

Packing list

  • Bedding (sleeping bags or sheets for twin mattresses)

  • Pillows

  • Clothing for a range of weather and activities

  • Sleepwear

  • Toiletries

  • Rain gear (plan to be outside if it's raining)

  • Shoes / boots

  • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)

  • Water bottle

  • Camera

  • Snacks (nut-free; meals are provided)

  • Books

  • Games

  • Musical instrument

  • Small hobbies (knitting, whittling, etc)

  • Watercraft (kayak, paddleboard, etc; but access only from adjacent provincial park)
